George Hepburne Scott’s Extradition Commentary Cited in the House of Lords

On 8 January 2021, Lord Morris of Aberavon quoted extradition barrister George Hepburne Scott’s letter in The Times when putting a question to the relevant UK Government Minister, during the House of Lords debate on the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. His contribution drew on George’s observations about extradition warrant cases at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in the first week of the new post-Brexit arrangement.
