Fighting a global terrorist financing extradition case for a client in Manchester

I was instructed in the case of USA v S.N., on behalf of a defendant facing a US extradition request who is said to be at the centre of a global terrorist financing conspiracy. The case involved the sale and export of $750 million worth of diamonds and artworks which are said by US federal prosecutors to have been deliberately undervalued to evade US OFAC sanctions to enable the funding of Hezbollah. This was a very serious allegation that would have had enormous repercussions on my client.

The extradition request was made by the US Department of Justice Office of International Affairs and was led from the highest levels of the US Government. I am highly experienced in resisting US extradition requests, especially those involving allegations of complex global conspiracies. As such, I am ideally placed to help clients in circumstances like this.

The case was heard at Westminster Magistrates’ Court throughout 2024 and attracted worldwide media attention.

If you are facing an extradition case and require the assistance of a highly skilled and experienced lawyer specialising in this challenging area, then I am able to help. I have successfully helped many clients avoid extradition to the US, as well as to countries throughout Europe and around the world.
