George Hepburne-Scott of UK Extradition Lawyer has secured significant successes in two separate extradition matters before the High Court.

In N.C. v France, George contested the extradition request on behalf of his client, advancing substantial and complex arguments under sections 2 and 12A of the Extradition Act 2003. Following the filing of a High Court appeal, we were informed on 13 May 2026 that the French authorities withdrew the warrant and George’s client was subsequently discharged.

In a separate matter, A.M. v Romania, George appeared at a contested hearing before the High Court on 14 May 2026, where his client was granted permission to appeal against an extradition order on grounds arising under section 20, Article 5, and Article 6.

These outcomes reflect George’s continued expertise in complex extradition litigation.
